Introducing Cyflow’s AI Security Platform for Workspace

Dima Kagan, Co-Founder

Today, we're introducing Cyflow's AI Security Platform for Workspace: one place to understand what AI can reach, how people and applications interact with sensitive data, and where security teams need to act.

Connected AI exposure map linking workspace files, people, AI assistants, browser activity, and cloud applications through a central security control layer

AI is changing workspace data security, but it is not making the fundamentals obsolete. Data loss prevention, insider-risk detection, access governance, application visibility, and secure sharing remain essential. What has changed is the scale and speed at which existing exposure can become useful to an AI system.

Traditional Workspace Security Is Still the Foundation

Workspaces hold an organization's most valuable operational data: contracts, customer records, financial information, intellectual property, and internal conversations. That data is continuously shared among employees, external contacts, applications, and automated services.

Security teams still need to find sensitive assets, reduce oversharing, identify risky applications, monitor insider threats, and remediate access that no longer serves a business purpose. Cyflow continues to provide these core workspace data security controls.

AI Expands the Blast Radius of Existing Access

AI does not create new permissions. It amplifies the permissions, sharing links, application grants, and configuration choices that already exist.

A person who can reach thousands of files may now ask an assistant to summarize them in seconds. An OAuth application with broad access can become another path into workspace data. An employee can also move sensitive information into a public AI service by pasting text or uploading a file through the browser.

This creates a larger and more dynamic blast radius. Securing it requires more than a list of files or a stream of isolated alerts. It requires a connected view of data, identity, applications, AI systems, and user behavior.

One Connected View of AI Exposure

Cyflow brings the paths AI can follow into one AI exposure model:

  • Data assets: Discover and classify sensitive files, understand their sharing state, and prioritize remediation.
  • Sharing and access: Find public links, external collaborators, and permissions that make sensitive data reachable beyond its intended audience.
  • Applications and Shadow AI: Discover connected OAuth applications, assess their access, and revoke risky grants.
  • People and identity: See the blast radius associated with employees, external contacts, and their access to sensitive assets.
  • Copilot activity: Monitor and classify Microsoft Copilot conversations to support sensitive-data governance.
  • Browser interactions:Govern sensitive-data paste and upload activity to AI assistants through Cyflow's browser AI security controls.

Security From Exposure to Action

Visibility alone is not enough. Once Cyflow identifies exposure, security teams can move from investigation to remediation in the same platform: remove risky access, revoke application grants, correct sharing, and apply workspace security baselines.

Cyflow also connects these signals through CyPilot, the tenant-scoped workspace security assistant. Administrators can ask questions about assets, people, applications, and exposure in plain language while keeping every request within the tenant context they are authorized to access.

A New Operating Model for Workspace Security

The shift to AI security is not a choice between traditional controls and new AI controls. Organizations need both, working together:

  1. Understand what AI can reach. Map sensitive assets, sharing, identities, applications, and configuration drift before they become AI exposure.
  2. Govern how AI is used. Monitor enterprise Copilot activity and protect sensitive data as employees interact with public AI tools in the browser.
  3. Reduce the blast radius continuously. Remediate excessive access and risky sharing as the workspace changes.

AI has made the workspace a primary security control plane. Cyflow's AI Security Platform for Workspace gives security teams one place to see the full exposure path and take action. Explore Cyflow or contact our team to see the platform in your environment.
