We're out of stealth. For the past year, we've been building something we believe will fundamentally change how security teams protect their organizations.
The AI-Native Paradox
Building an AI-native security company has tested everything we thought we knew about product development. Some things moved faster than we ever imagined possible—features that would have taken months shipped in days. Complex functionality that once required large teams came together with the right prompts, AI agent architecture, and MCP tooling.
Other things humbled us. Moving fast means nothing if you're solving the wrong problem. We had to slow down, listen to design partners, and rebuild around what actually matters—not what's technically impressive.
Three Lessons from the Journey
1. Speed Is a Tool, Not a Strategy
AI enables prototyping at unprecedented pace. But our best decisions came when we paused to ask: Does this actually help a security analyst at 2am during an incident? Velocity without direction is just motion.
2. Real-Time at Scale Is Still Hard
We're processing millions of assets continuously across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspaceenvironments. AI helped us get there faster. It didn't make the engineering any less demanding. The fundamentals of distributed systems, data pipelines, and reliability still matter.
3. Experience Cuts Both Ways
Deep security expertise helped us avoid some traps. It also created blind spots we had to unlearn. Building AI-native means questioning assumptions you didn't even know you had—about how security products should work, how teams should operate, and what's actually possible now.
What We've Built
The result is a security platform designed for how threats actually work today—adaptive, fast, and grounded in the realities of modern infrastructure. Our AI agents don't just detect problems; they automatically remediate them before they become breaches.
We're incredibly proud of what this team has accomplished. And we're grateful to the design partners who trusted us early and pushed us to be better.
What's Next
This is just the beginning. We'll be sharing more about our approach to autonomous security, deep dives into specific use cases, and the technical decisions that shaped Cyflow.
